Facility Design

Choosing PPL Fitness to design your fitness facility is a smart choice. We are dedicated to providing our customers with the most innovative and unique designs.

PPL's Fitness implemented the "Stage Five Design" to improve the way we gather our information. By understanding our customers needs and wants, appropriately identifying the target demographic, and most importantly discovering what the customer hopes to accomplish with their facility - we can not only efficiently and effectively design a facility that is both unique and innovative but we can also incorporate our customers goals and objectives. 

There are severals factors that we take into account when designing your facility. Providing the right mix of equipment, identifying the latest trends, incorporating enviornmentally friendly products, ensuring safety, eliminating liability, optimizing functionality and finally accounting for proper electrical and flooring are all key components in providing you a state of the art design.

Our drawings are all prepared in house by our Fitness Design Team. These designs are provided to our customers in multiple formats, including CAD files for easy integration into your buildings master plans.


Stage Five Design


Stage One:    

Identifying the customers goals of the fitness centre. What do you hope to accomplish with your facility? 

Stage Two:    

Understanding the customers budget, the target demographic, marketing initiatives, programming/training. 

Stage Three:  

Identify the space that is being allocated. Determine if room is adequate size and space? Any safety concerns? Can structural changes still be made?

Stage Four:    

Prepare and recommend drawings/designs incorporating all key factors mentioned above. Numerous layout options are provided to the customer to successfully create the perfect design. 

Stage Five:  

Oversee the fitness project. Thorough site inspections throughout the construction of the project, review of drawings, oversee the installation of the fitness equipment, training sessions on how to properly use the equipment.


From Concept to Completion 

          

Having a fantastic design team is not all that PPL Fitness has. We want to be apart of your fitness project from concept to completion. 

Once we complete the  design stage, PPL Fitness has access to the best fitness brands and products and therefore have the ability to fully equip your room. Furthermore, we also have an incredible Fitness Service Division that can perform the installation of the fitness equipment with our many qualified service technicians. Once the installation is completed, our fitness service staff can provide preventative maintenance on a monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly basis to ensure your equipment is performing optimally for years to come. 

Through our Recreation and Staffing Division we can provide a full range of programming, class and fitness instructor/personal training options.

Preventative Maintenance

PPL Fitness provides preventative fitness maintenance to over 250 fitness accounts across Ontario. We have six full time service technicians and six service vehicles that are dedicated to providing preventative maintenance to our customers within Ontario. Our technicians are fully certified in providing preventative maintenance and repairs to SportsArt, Hoist, Sci Fit, Keiser and Landice equipment among many others.

  1. Preventative maintenance is performed by one of our six certified service technicians who show up wearing professional uniforms, inform you that they are providing preventative maintenance, and visit you upon completion to inform you of the work that has been completed and any issues that may exist. 
  2. Our technicians are trained in diagnosing and repairing all brands of cardio, strength, medical, rehabilitative and accessory equipment.  
  3. Our preventative maintenance programs will provide you with notice of upcoming major repairs to allow you to budget for future expenses. We will provide lifecycle planning where required to ensure your resources are properly allocated. 
  4. A written report is provided to the Person(s) in charge of overseeing the Fitness Facility at the time of our inspection.  Any further repairs that are needed will be quoted and e-mailed to this same person for approval. 
  5. Our fitness maintenance customers receive priority service when it comes to repairs. Furthermore, we provide you with a special discount on fitness parts, above and beyond what is offered to clients that call for the occasional service request.
  6. Our service vehicles are stocked with the most common repair items needed, such as strength machine cables, cable attachments, batteries, fuses, etc.
  7. Our warehouse is stocked with parts of all makes and models to ensure that your equipment does not experience long periods of down time.
  8. We provide you with WSIB and Insurance coverage which ensures you are protected when our service technicians visit your site. 
  9. Our schedules are flexible. If there is a certain time or day that you require us to be at your site, we will do our best to meet your request.  
  10. We are consistent - our service technician will be the same throughout the duration of your contract.

Service and Repairs

We ensure that our warehouse is fully stocked at all times with fitness parts from all makes and models. This enables us to quickly respond to repairs and service calls and leave little to no down time for your fitness equipment.

Our six service technicians are certified in providing repairs to SportsArt, Hoist, Sci Fit, Landice, Life Fitness, Keiser and many more brands of equipment. 

We have six vehicles that are dedicated to providing service and repairs throughout Ontario.

Once we diagnose the issue(s) you are experiencing with your fitness equipment, we can provide you with a quotation that will require your approval to proceed with the repair. Once the repair is completed we will provide you with a detailed work order stating the service our technician has provided to you. 

Our technicians are insured and to prove this, we provide all of our customers with WSIB and Insurance certificates.
